HP is the first corporation that I worked at, and the first tech job I ever had. They also paid my way in college to get a bachelor’s degree. So I hold a fond place in my heart for the company, and like to check in on how things are going from time to time. I never, ever expected to see a headline like: Ex-Leader Among 5 Charged in Hewlett Case:

Hewlett-Packard’s former chairwoman was among five people charged Wednesday with illegally gathering phone records of board members, journalists and others in an effort to find the source of news leaks.

All I can say is: HOLY CRAP!
